COMMERCIAL INTERN

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Commercial Intern, you will support the Commercial Manager and collaborate with Area Sales Managers and Supply Chain Executives to coordinate and execute commercial activities across the Middle East. This 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in luxury retail analytics, commercial coordination and cross-functional teamwork, while contributing to the continued success of one of the world’s most iconic brands.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

• Assist in consolidating and uploading sales data from local markets into business intelligence platforms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Cross-validate sales information by comparing system data with local source files.
• Prepare and share monthly performance reports (MTD, YTD, vs. budget) with clear, actionable insights.
• Assess and track submitted purchase orders and distributor stock holding, analyzing coverage periods and suggesting improvements where needed.
• Support Area Sales Managers with order validation and provide critical feedback prior to final placement.
• Monitor and report monthly EOL (End of Life) volumes at distributor level.
• Follow up on expense trackers with local markets, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Cross-check expense entries and flag any discrepancies or overspending.
• Update and improve commercial templates for new periods, and assist local market teams with troubleshooting and consolidation.
• Suggest new template formats to streamline reporting and consolidation processes.
• Collect and validate documentation for UAE shipment clearance, coordinating with Supply Chain Executives for timely delivery.
• Maintain organized files and reports to support seamless commercial operations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or recent graduate in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Previous experience or coursework in commercial analysis, data management, or retail is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic and/or French is an advantage.
• Based in Dubai or willing to relocate.
