About the role

Position Objective

Define, develop and execute the brand strategy for the portfolio of distributed beauty and fragrance brands, ensuring full alignment with each maison’s global positioning, brand DNA and guidelines. The role is responsible for driving business growth through successful product launches, relevant brand activations and a deep understanding of the beauty consumer, maximizing commercial performance across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute the annual marketing plan for each beauty and fragrance brand, aligned with global strategy and local priorities.

  • Translate brand DNA into actionable local plans, ensuring consistency with luxury codes, storytelling and visual identity.

  • Manage the marketing budget (A&P), ensuring financial control, efficiency and return on investment (ROI).

Launches, Campaigns & Activation

  • Lead fragrance, makeup and/or skincare launches, coordinating 360° campaigns across retail, wholesale, e-commerce, PR and digital channels.

  • Define the annual launch calendar, hero products and commercial animations.

  • Coordinate trade marketing tools including visual merchandising, POS materials, testers, sampling, gifts with purchase and promotional sets.

  • Ensure flawless execution at point of sale, in line with beauty excellence standards.

Relationship with Headquarters & Stakeholders

  • Act as the main point of contact with international headquarters, licensors or brand owners.

  • Ensure strict compliance with global communication, image and activation guidelines.

  • Prepare and present brand plans, business reviews and performance results to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Retail, Trade Marketing, E-commerce, PR, Training, Supply Chain and Finance teams.

Business & Market Analysis

  • Monitor key performance indicators: sell-in, sell-out, market share, rotation, margin, distribution and productivity by channel.

  • Analyze beauty and fragrance market trends, competitive landscape, innovation and consumer behavior.

  • Propose action plans to optimize performance, accelerate key categories and unlock growth opportunities.

Operational Management & Leadership

  • Prioritize brands and categories within the portfolio based on performance, potential and strategic relevance.

  • Manage external agencies (media, creative, PR, events, influencers).

  • Contribute to defining training needs for fragrance and beauty sales teams.

  • Coach and develop junior team members when applicable.

Profile Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication or related field.

  • Postgraduate studies or specialization in Marketing, Brand Management or Business are a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in brand management, preferably within beauty, fragrances, makeup, skincare or related categories.

  • Proven experience working with international brands under distribution or licensing models.

  • Strong track record in product launches and integrated marketing campaigns.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid understanding of the beauty and fragrance market.

  • Strong aesthetic sensitivity and understanding of luxury brand storytelling.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret commercial KPIs.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally.

Languages

  • Advanced English (mandatory).
