About the role
SALES EXECUTIVE - TRAVEL RETAILLocation: Panamá, Panamá City
Reports to: Sales Area Manager
Contract: Full-time and permanent position
YOUR ROLE @CHANEL
As one of our Sales Executive, you will assist the Sales Area Manager to accomplish sales goals and objectives for the territory.
WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANELCommercial
-
Prepare and analyze annual forecasts of campaign products and promotional materials for each client

Prepare suggested orders of new campaigns and regular products for clients
-
Analyze and input orders in the system, in coordination with Brand Managers and clients
-
Oversee and communicate with correspondent departments to ensure all material is included in the orders
-
Manage and supervise order processing, products rotation, PLV & stock levels
-
Monthly sell-in vs sell-out and stock analysis
Financial
-
Calculation, payments and follow up of commissions, launches and reimbursement

Monitor PLV expenses from CUPFSA
Others
-
Follow up of the training of Beauty Advisors, Make-Up Artists and general staff
-
Follow up with Regulatory Affairs Department for the sanitary registration of new products

Production of Grey Market Reports
-
Coordinate trade animations and events (MUP events, Beauty Schools), according to the marketing calendar
-
Work along with Brand Managers to ensure the efficiency of all events and animations, and their respective reports
-
Visit points of sales to ensure stock levels, image and merchandising are up to date
-
Collaborate in the destruction process of obsolete and / or discontinued stock
-
Active participation in the planning and preparation of budget reviews, strategic presentations and others budget presentation

Be a liaison between the client and other departments

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

At least a bachelor’s degree in Industrial engineering, Business, economics, or a related field.

2-4 years of relevant work experience ideally for regional distribution companies, covering relevant topics such as market research and competitive and data analysis.
-
Critical enabler for the organization to optimize performance, drive sales growth, and ensure that its strategies are aligned with both market trends and consumer needs.
-
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail when working with large data sets.
-
Must be fluent both in English and Spanish
-
Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Power BI, Power Query, and other reporting platforms. Assessment will be applied during the recruitment process to validate knowledge with these tools
-
Initiative to identify process gaps and propose solutions that drive efficiency.
