In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, quality, and continuous improvement of systems, while building an efficient and high-performing team.

Your work will combine team leadership with hands-on coordination of projects and initiatives, as well as close collaboration with external partners. You will play a key role in aligning IT services with business needs, especially in areas such as finance, accounting, tax, and HR & payroll, providing both operational excellence and expert support to users.

This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, requiring strong ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality, stability, and continuous development of owned systems, as well as high quality and efficiency of the team’s deliverables.
  • Prepare and execute development plans for supported systems.
  • Manage the team, including shaping its structure and ways of working.
  • Lead team members by setting and evaluating goals, supporting their professional growth, and assigning tasks.
  • Manage the team’s budget, including cost control and financial planning.
  • Oversee system administration tasks, particularly in areas such as system continuity, license management, user and access management, and backups.
  • Build and maintain relationships with other departments, both from the ERP team perspective and across the broader IT Operations department.
  • Coordinate and supervise cooperation with external vendors.
  • Support other IT Operations teams and actively contribute to department-wide initiatives.
  • At least 5 years of experience in analysis, development, or implementation of ERP systems (finance, accounting, payroll).
  • Practical knowledge of system implementations and change management (both new solutions and development of existing systems).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in building, managing, and developing a team, with strong organizational skills (both personal and team-level).
  • Experience in leading initiatives or projects (end-to-end or as an area owner).
  • Experience in managing cooperation with external vendors.
  • Ability to manage backlog, priorities, and roadmap in collaboration with other teams and internal business stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with vendors and stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
  • Experience working at the intersection of IT and business.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to quality.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with business users; high level of professionalism.
  • English and Polish proficiency at a minimum of B2 level.

Nice to have

  • Strong knowledge of financial processes and regulations (accounting, controlling, tax, HR & payroll).
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O or/and other ERP.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
