About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Planning Senior Technician, you will play a critical role onsite with one of our Life Sciences clients, supporting a highly regulated and mission-driven environment across approximately 500,000 square feet of warehouse and manufacturing space. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure hands-on work is executed efficiently and in alignment with operational priorities.

Rather than performing repairs directly, you will serve as the central point of coordination—partnering closely with technicians, vendors, and internal teams to drive preventive maintenance planning, work order execution, and overall operational readiness that supports safe, reliable, and seamless day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Organize, prioritize, and assign work orders to individual technicians or work teams to support timely and efficient execution.
  • Coordinate the engagement and oversight of subcontractors, ensuring work is performed safely, compliantly, and in accordance with account requirements.
  • Partner closely with technicians to plan and stage materials, permits, subcontractors, tools, and other resources necessary for successful work completion.
  • Collaborate closely with the client’s facilities, operations, engineering and manufacturing teams to align maintenance planning, schedules, and priorities with operational needs and business objectives.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate standardized workflow processes across the account team to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Review predictive maintenance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing regular reporting to both management and the client.
  • Conduct annual reviews of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, recommending enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Apply a foundational understanding of maintenance and operational principles while continuing to grow technical and planning expertise.
  • Lead by example and consistently model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values.
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy and quality in all work products and planning activities.
  • Operate within established procedures and practices to meet objectives, timelines, and service expectations.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively by exchanging information, asking clarifying questions, and confirming understanding with team members and stakeholders.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–3 years of job‑related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting maintenance planning in a biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Familiarity with GxP and/or GMP regulated facilities is a strong plus.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow established procedures to resolve standard operational issues.
  • Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices to exercise sound judgment.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive, detail-oriented mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, fractions, and other financial or operational figures.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for Visa sponsorship now or in the future.
