Job Responsibilities- Establish EHS governance aligned to client's Global EHS & HRA.

  • Review and comment Early Works EHS Management Plans.

  • Review MSRA/ SMWS for all Early Works activities.

  • Verify contractor EHS resourcing and competency.

  • Verify permit-to-work framework in place for Early Works

  • Conduct risk assessments, inspections, audits, and monitor compliance across sites

  • Lead incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

  • Attendance at DABs (Daily Activity Briefings)

  • Deliver EHS training and awareness programs for employees and contractors

  • Collaborate with project and operations teams to integrate EHS into all project phases

  • High risk issues escalated to client's leadership

  • Participate in Early Works coordination& planning meetings.

  • Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field

  • Minimum 10+ years of EHS experience, preferably in data centers, construction, or mission-critical facilities

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian EHS regulations (DOSH, OSHA, environmental laws)

  • Relevant certifications preferred (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)

  • Experience managing EHS for contractors and cross-functional teams

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Preferred Skills- Experience in data center or critical infrastructure projects in Malaysia

  • Knowledge of CSA & MEP construction activities

  • Familiarity with implementing behavioural safety programs
