Role Definition: Designs, validates, and releases electrical subsystems and components for high power, high voltage products, contributing from concept to production under guidance from senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities Design, Analysis, Build and Release

Contribute to electrical design and architecture (power path, aux supplies, sensing, protection, grounding).

Create schematics; coordinate with PCB layout for thermal, power density, creepage/clearance, and EMI performance.

Own component selection & sizing across power, control, sensing, and protection circuits.

Develop Schematic in PTC Creo; specify connectors, gauges, shielding, and routing rules.

Apply EMC/EMI practices (filters, CM/DM control, partitioning, star ground, shielding).

Perform design calculations, validating simulation results.

Maintain Bo Ms (alternates/second sources), drawings, and reports; manage changes via ECR/ECN in PLM.

Build and evaluate prototypes; collaborate with suppliers/CMs for DFM/DFA and yield improvements.

Electrical system simulation tools (e.g., ETAP) for load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination informing component selection.

Teamcenter PLM (part numbering, BoM structure, document control, change workflows).

Collaboration & Process

Work cross functionally with Mechanical, Controls, Systems, Test, and Supply Chain.

Participate in design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA, and continuous improvement activities.

Translate requirements into detailed design specs and testable acceptance criteria.

Minimum Qualifications• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Electronics (M.E./M.Tech a plus).

2–4 years in Electrical/ Electronics /Power electronics design and lab validation.
