About the role

Manages team of primarily entry and intermediate professionals or team leaders of Technical / Business Support or Production / Maintenance employees, with flexibility to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work). Sets day-to-day goals and objectives. Problems faced may be difficult, but typically are not complex. May manage elements of the budget (e.g., overtime for staff). Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experiences, with some logical analysis of the issue. In this role, you will supervise, coach, mentor and develop a team of HR Advisors and Specialists who are researching and responding to a wide range of HR inquires. This position will function across the business providing support to employees, managers, and HR professionals.

As a minimum you must have:

  • University Degree or equivalent experience or equivalent experience and specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices.
  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proven people management skills.
  • MS Office must have , Workday, Service Now (as advantage).
  • Process Improvement Experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English + German.
  • Previous experience in HR/Back office/Admin/Customer Care related role.
  • Detail-oriented mentality.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Knowledge of any other EU language as an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to supervise, coach, lead, train and develop HR team members who provide employee and leader guidance related to simple and complex issues for employees, managers, and HR professionals across the business.
  • Consistently and proactively demonstrate and be a role model providing excellent customer service. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing expertise to the HR team and business units - policy interpretation, data validation, auditing, problem resolution and continued process improvement.
  • Encourage team to educate employees on HR services available and continued use of self-service tools. Create and present training presentations. Provide favorable company representation with integrity and honesty.
  • Identify and drive process improvements across the function.
  • Assist with HR data migration and auditing during acquisitions.
  • Research and work in a team environment to resolve employee issues by working directly with internal and external clients and vendors.
  • Ensure data integrity through on-going audits.
  • Utilize Case Mgmt System to document and escalate inquiries.
  • Prioritize projects and activities and appropriately delegate and allocate work among team.
  • Serve as an employee and customer advocate.
  • Occasional travel to other sites within the company to support initiatives, build relationships, and drive operational excellence.
  • Perform other reasonable and necessary duties.
