The Power Platform Developer is responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, and Power Automate. This is a hands-on technical role focused on building secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform and emerging AI technologies. This role will work closely with the AI and Power Platform team and stakeholders on building solid solutions. They will also contribute to solution documentation, support, and knowledge sharing to ensure long-term sustainability and adoption. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Power Platform and adjacent Microsoft 365 technologies.

In addition to building solutions, this role helps define and enforce standards for Power Platform development, governance, and best practices, influencing how the organization adopts and scales low-code and AI-driven technologies.

Leadership: This role has no direct reports but leads through influence—guiding cross‑functional teams (business, IT, vendors) via a dotted-line model across the full delivery lifecycle, including scoping, prioritization, execution, and change management for shore and fleet initiatives. The developer steward’s platform standards and governance, mentor's citizen developers, coordinates resources and schedules, and advises on and monitors budgets for licenses, environments, and solution operations to ensure value, compliance, and sustainable adoption.
Qualifications:

Strong working knowledge of deploying, operating, and supporting Microsoft Power Platform in a large enterprise environment

Strong working knowledge of architecting enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform capabilities

Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Azure services

Familiarity with Copilot Studio technologies

Minimum 2 - 5 years of proven expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio) within a large enterprise environment.

Strong ability to architect enterprise-grade solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.

Hands-on experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365 and Azure services to deliver end-to-end business solutions.

Demonstrated knowledge of governance, security, and compliance practices for Power Platform to ensure adherence to enterprise standards.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
Travel: Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely
Work Conditions: Work beyond normal business hours or on weekends may be required occasionally to support business needs, projects, or operations.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.
