Job Purpose and Impact:

The Tax Associate job performs routine administrative tasks in support of tax and compliance activities. Working under general supervision for routine administrative tasks, this job assists in the development of tax solutions and advice and the resolution of legal disputes and audits.

• Key Accountabilities
• TAX RETURNS: Supports the preparation of assigned tax returns, ensuring accuracy and providing daily assistance.
• TAX FORM COMPLETION: Assists in the preparation of tax forms and related documents for tax compliance, including provisions, computations, estimates, and low complexity extensions.
• TAX COMPLIANCE ACTIVITIES: Helps with tax compliance projects, enters data into various compliance related applications and performs assigned tasks related to statutory and accounting for tax related items, including data quality checks.
• DOCUMENTATION SUPPORT: Verifies the accuracy of the assigned invoices, accounting documents, records, detailed financial business transactions and compiles tax data and various related reports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
• Very good knowledge in MS Excel.
• Excellent English language skills - written and verbal.
