Job Purpose and Impact
The Research and Development Technical Services Specialist II will collaborate with a team to execute the business plan to meet business goals. In this role, you will identify and execute new business development projects, lead, prioritize and report on the associated portfolios and drive process improvements using available supporting tools and metrics.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop strong customer relationships at key accounts.
- Participate with sales and marketing leaders on customer segmentation and satisfaction, account planning and the use of salesforce.com.
- Support the application center, ensuring a safe working environment, food safety compliance, budget and resource management.
- Help execute applications development work, ensuring that all projects are appropriately staffed.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to develop customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise
