The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Now Integration Engineer supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations between Service Now and a variety of enterprise systems, with an initial focus on systems critical to our operational workflows. You will work closely with business stakeholders, Service Now developers, and other IT teams to ensure seamless data flow and process automation across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Service Now architecture, integration methodologies, and web service technologies, and will be comfortable working with both established and emerging integration patterns

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement integrations between Service Now and various enterprise systems, which may include government / DoD systems, vendor and licensing systems and other enterprise tools.
  • Utilize Service Now integration technologies such as:
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP APIs
  • MID Servers
  • Integration Hub (Spokes, Flows)
  • JDBC/ODBC Connections
  • Email Integration
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including integration designs, data mappings, and test plans.
  • Perform thorough testing of integrations to ensure data accuracy and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor integration performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest features of Service Now and integration of best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards.
  • Work closely with Service Now developers to implement custom solutions and enhancements.
  • Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the Service Now platform.
  • Automate manual processes using Service Now workflows and integrations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in Service Now development and integration.
  • Strong understanding of Service Now platform architecture and functionalities.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Jelly, and AngularJS.
  • Experience with data mapping and transformation.
  • Experience with Service Now MID Server configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Integration Hub and Service Now Flow Designer.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • Experience in integrating with tools and sources for hardware and / or software asset management.
  • Candidate should have a CompTIA Security+ certification or be able to obtain it within 60 days of hire.

Desired:

  • Active Secret clearance.

  • Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

  • Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification in one or more modules (e.g., ITSM, HRSD, CSM).

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools

  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms

  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$98,500-$206,800
