The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Junior Cyber Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Join a team that tackles complex, multi-disciplinary problems spanning cybersecurity, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and computer science. You'll have the opportunity to learn and explore new topics while leveraging your existing skills.

Responsibilities:

As a Junior Cyber Engineer, you'll contribute to a team that works hands on with state-of-the-art electronics. You'll perform basic investigation, evaluation, and application of techniques in support of the team's work on new technologies

Qualifications:

Required:
Active Top-Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI.
BS in a related discipline and 2-4 years of directly related experience.

Experience working in and with a Linux OS environment.
Basic knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic systems.
Familiarity with a coding/programming language such as Python, Java, or C.
Experience with command line interfaces such as the Linux terminal.
Understanding of networking topics such as IP addressing and subnetting as well as common protocols (HTTP, TCP, UDP, FTP, etc.) and technologies (ethernet, Wi-Fi, etc.)
Understanding of interfaces such as serial, USB, and ethernet.

Desired:

Experience with penetration testing or threat hunting and related tools.
Knowledge of file systems and file system structure.
Familiarity with Android OS and mobile device debugging techniques.
Experience with benchtop equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal/power analyzers, and multimeters.
Experience with SDRs (HackRF, Ettus, etc.) and GNURadio.
Soldering experience.

Experience with unmanned systems such as UAS, UGV, and USV.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$76,000 - 155,700 USD
