About the role

  • As an International Senior Tax Expert, you will be responsible for advising our business units and subsidiaries on international tax law, focusing on transfer pricing, permanent establishments, and related compliance requirements.
  • You will coordinate and review new cross-border business transactions for various tax requirements. This involves close collaboration with different contacts in the business units and conducting necessary training sessions.
  • You will be responsible for defining global tax guidelines for transfer pricing and permanent establishments, including risk management specifications for the business units. With support from tax experts in our global network, you will act as the interface between the business units and the central tax department.
  • As a key member of the team supporting the business units with their tax requirements, you will constantly exchange information with colleagues to assess issues and to develop and refine standards.
  • You will actively participate in projects, contributing your expertise in international tax law, especially regarding transfer pricing and permanent establishments, during implementation and organizational changes.
  • Finally, you will manage tax audits and proceedings with authorities.
  • Education:

A university degree in Business Administration or Economics with a focus on Taxation, Finance, and Controlling, or a comparable field of study.

  • Qualification:

A certified tax advisor qualification is an advantage.

  • Experience and Know-How:

5+ years of professional experience in international taxation, ideally within the tax department of a multinational corporation or a tax consultancy firm; expert knowledge in transfer pricing and permanent establishments; controlling skills.

  • Personality:

You have a confident demeanor and strong communication skills at all corporate levels. You are resilient, responsible, and a reliable team player. You are characterized by your independent and structured way of working.

  • Enthusiasm:

You enjoy working within an international network.

  • Languages:

Fluent in written and spoken English. German language skills are an advantage.
