The purpose of this position is to manage daily maintenance operations with a team of maintenance personnel to ensure machine and equipment availability, reliability, efficiency, and adherence to quality and safety standards for production

• Repair and Maintenance Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to rectify issues identified during inspections or troubleshooting. MTBF, Plan vs Unplanned Ratio, blue collar associate Skill Level Index
• Maintenance reporting and spares planning
  Provide regular reports on maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status to stakeholders. Track key department KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, PMI completion and other relevant metrics. Keep track of spare parts inventory, plan and initiate procurement processes as needed.
  Dept SQCD targets, R&M Budget, MAZE Inventory
• Task allocation and monitoring
  Allocate maintenance tasks, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities to team members based on skill levels, workload, and equipment needs. Plan regular inspections to identify potential issues, wear and tear, or signs of malfunction, and address them before they escalate.

TPM Step Level:

• Trouble shooting
  Provide quick response and support in diagnosing and trouble shooting maintenance problems, using the technical expertise and collaboration with the team to find effective solutions. Participate in TPM activities.
  MTBF, MTTR
• Maintenance analysis and optimization.
  Document and analyse maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, maintenance schedules, equipment history, trends, to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes. Identify opportunities for Digital projects, smart automation, cost reduction, improvements etc.
  Kaizen, Lessons Learned, Employee Suggestions
• Competency Requirement

Knowledge:

• Advance knowledge and understanding of Machine elements and control systems.
• Advance knowledge on electrical and mechanical safety.
• Advance knowledge on lean principles, IATF standards

Functional Skills:

• Advance knowledge in Diagnosis & Trouble shooting skills of machine elements
• Advance knowledge in Root cause identification & correctives Actions, Machine & gauge capability

Required Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical)
• 4 to 6 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, Automobile or Service Industry

Preferred Skills & Experience: Equipment & Systems Expertise:

• Hands-on experience with Special Purpose Machines SPM, CNC, VMC, Grinding, Automation, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics systems

• Proficiency in vacuum systems, alignment, and balancing operations

• Gearbox overhaul and maintenance capabilities

Process & Application Knowledge:

• Experience in Grinding, Injection Molding, Heat Treatment & surface treatment Cleaning processes, Assembly, and Testing operations
• Instrumentation and calibration process knowledge

Maintenance & Operational Competencies:

• Mechanical maintenance in manufacturing environments

• Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation and execution

• SAP PM module proficiency

• Safety compliance and regulatory adherence

• Advance knowledge and understanding of preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance of mechanical equipment such as gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Hands‑on experience in troubleshooting mechanical failures, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementation of permanent corrective actions is required.

• Advance knowledge on lean principles, IATF standards

• Advance knowledge in Diagnosis & Trouble shooting skills of machine elements

• Advance knowledge in Root cause identification & correctives Actions, Machine & gauge capability.

• Knowledge of industrial safety standards, lock‑out/tag‑out (LOTO), and safe maintenance practices is mandatory.

• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with electrical, automation, production, and quality teams are essential.
