National Sales Manager - Mobile Hydraulics at Bosch
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to lead our Mobile Applications sales team in Canada. You will be responsible for driving profitable revenue and market share growth through effective leadership of a high-performing sales team. This strategic role involves developing and executing sales strategies to meet company objectives, expanding the customer base, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership & Strategy:
Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve above market growth for incoming orders and revenue while also improving profitability. Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 7 sales professionals across Canada, fostering a customer-centric and results-oriented culture.
- Team & Channel Management:
Recruit, train, and manage the performance of both field and internal sales teams. Develop and manage indirect sales channels to expand market reach.
- Market Intelligence & Growth:
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Ensure sales activity is focused on strategic growth at both target and potential accounts.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners. Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, engineering, and other departments to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
- Cross-Divisional Support:
Facilitate sales development opportunities for other Bosch Rexroth divisions, including Industrial Hydraulics, Electric Drives & Controls, and Linear & Assembly Technologies.
- Education:
A Technical Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline is required. A Master's Degree (MBA) is considered an asset.
- Sales Leadership Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales leadership experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding growth and profitability targets. 10+ years of experience is preferred.
- Technical & Market Knowledge:
Comprehensive knowledge of the Canadian Mobile market and its competitive landscape. Strong technical competence in mobile hydraulics, mobile electronics, and control systems is essential.
- Leadership Skills:
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and decision-making abilities with a talent for mentoring a technical sales force.
- Strategic Acumen:
Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, develop winning strategies, and drive a value-based selling approach.
- Language:
Fluency in English is required. The ability to communicate in French would be a significant asset.
- Travel Requirement:
This position requires approximately 35% travel within Canada and 10% international travel.
