Defense Financial Analyst, Mid
The Opportunity:
The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a Financial Analyst who can navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure the Department of Defense’s (DoD) resources can make the most impact.
As a Financial Planner on our team, you’ll support Joint Force Development by providing expertise in highly specialized financial, programmatic, and business analysis environments to support senior management business decisions. You will apply specific functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, data entry, analysis of data, and program management and finance. You'll participate in the identification, analysis, and evaluation of policy and processes related to DoD Training initiatives. You will plan, coordinate, and support meetings and planning events involving worldwide participants to improve the use of joint training resources. You'll contribute to the resolution of complex programmatic and financial problems using analytic judgment and proven analytic practices. You will work independently with some guidance and multitask in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
This is an opportunity for you to learn the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with Joint Force senior leadership. This is your chance to use your skills in program management while furthering your financial analysis experience.
Work with us as we help fuel Joint Force Readiness with the funding they need.
