Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an F-22 Structures Mechanic
- Mod Tech C at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska.
In this role you will be responsible for performing maintenance repair and upgrades on F-22 systems and structures. You will utilize aircraft technical orders, publications, blueprints and drawings to perform a variety of maintenance actions on aircraft systems and sub systems including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and engines.
Position Responsibilities:
-
Assists with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes.
-
Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
-
Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
-
Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.
-
Assists with performs tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
-
Works under supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
-
2 years of aircraft maintenance experience
-
1 years of experience with structural repair, fabrication, and modification on military fighter platforms (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-5, F-14, or F-15)
-
Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
-
Must be willing to work variable shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
-
Experience repairing, and servicing military fighter aircraft F-15, F-16, F-18, A-10, F-22, F-35
-
3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
-
1 year(s) of 5th generation aircraft maintenance experience
-
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems
-
Experience drilling, cutting, and fabricating aircraft structural components

Shift:
This position will start on shift 1 for training and then be subject to change based on needs of program.

Summary pay range: $73,100 - $98,900
