The Boeing Global Services (BGS) team is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent to join the team in Hertford, NC.

The Procurement Agent will be working with a multi-disciplinary team to quickly and effectively address facilities and construction needs for a US Government customer.  Work closely with internal departments to identify recurring service requirements and define clear specifications of those needs. Work will be taking place on a US Government facility, and requires an active security clearance.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and completes proprietary information agreements
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Partners with Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for our programs
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
  • Proactively engages with various teams and program partners
  • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years’ experience in a customer service role
  • Experience with Vendor Management
  • Knowledge in Contract Management and negotiation
  • Procurement lifecycle knowledge (sourcing, negotiation, contract management)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working on multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Technology Proficiency in Maximo and Microsoft Products
  • Skilled in analytical and problem-solving
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor management
  • Experience in maintaining digital files
