We’re seeking a future team member/s for the role of Vice President, POM Product Management to join our** Custody Client team**. This role is located in Wroclaw.

Role Overview: The Custody Client Change(CCC)Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of a new client onboarding projects or a Custody project workstream as a part of onboarding program. This role combines project management, business analysis, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure outcomes are delivered in line with client expectations and internal business requirements. Acting as the central interface between the client and internal teams, including Business, Technology, Product, and Operations, the CCC Project Manager ensures alignment, transparency, and disciplined execution throughout the client onboarding lifecycle.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Project Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all project governance standards and minimum requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready project documentation.

  • Adhere to required procedures and ensure all project data is kept up to date in the relevant project management systems and databases.

  • Prepare detailed submissions and supporting documentation for internal and external audit reviews.

  • Ensure the project complies with all governance, risk, and compliance requirements.

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Define the project delivery approach and establish processes for tracking, monitoring, and reporting progress.

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate comprehensive project plans, including scope, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths.

  • Set up appropriate project structures, workflows, and reporting mechanisms.

  • Drive day-to-day execution to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of project outcomes.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables remain on track.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal operational teams to scope, define, and validate business requirements.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for digital integration matters during client onboarding.

  • Secure formal sign-off on business requirements and ensure full traceability throughout the project.

  • Facilitate steering committees, working groups, and regular project status meetings.

  • Provide clear, consistent, and timely communication across all stakeholder groups.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Identify, assess, document, and escalate project risks and issues through the appropriate governance channels.

  • Conduct risk assessments and obtain all required approvals.

  • Manage changes to project scope, requirements, or timelines, ensuring all changes are formally documented, reviewed, and approved in line with governance processes.

  • Track mitigation actions and ensure resolution of risks and issues.

Operational Readiness & Closure

  • Secure Operational Readiness sign-off and ensure a smooth transition to Business as Usual (BAU).

  • Conduct post-project reviews against defined objectives and document lessons learned.

  • Ensure all project closure activities are completed in accordance with governance standards.

Digital Integration & Data Delivery

  • Define and manage business requirements for inbound and outbound SFTP file and data delivery & SWIFT testing.

  • Coordinate with technology and operational teams to ensure successful implementation and validation of digital integration solutions.

  • Support testing thru test planning, sign-off, and readiness activities related to data connectivity and file delivery.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Proven experience managing complex projects in a cross‑functional environment.

  • Understanding of the Custody Products offered by BNY.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

  • Ability to manage budgets, risks, and competing priorities.

  • Familiarity with project governance frameworks and audit requirements.

  • Experience in financial tracking and change control processes.

  • Proficiency with project management tools and documentation standards.

Solid understanding of data delivery mechanisms, including SFTP.
