Role Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced professional with a desire to advance his/her career to take up the role of Regional Sales. The position will be based in Beijing.

The individual in this role will be responsible for executing a detailed sales strategy with a focus on promoting our FMC product offerings. The primary target audience will include Banks, specific Asset Managers, Insurance Firms, and Securities Firms prioritized in partnership with distribution management, both on retailed investors and institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target existing and potential clients within China, with particular focus on North China.
  • Raise the profile and usage of FMC products within the targeted client base. Deliver AUM and revenue targets for the business
  • Oversee client enquiries related to Black Rock products, operational issues, and/or other post-sale matters
  • Leverage Black Rock resources to meet client needs and ensure those resources are brought to bear to maximize results in an efficient, resource-considered manner.
  • Provide and support presentations for workshops, seminars and individual client meetings as appropriate to represent FMC and build a broader understanding of our product offerings
  • Prioritize appropriately to focus efforts on highest opportunities for medium and long-term business growth.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of China onshore mutual fund retail sales experience
  • Possess relationship with major China local banks at respective provincial branch level—North China Region
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Possess required regulatory licenses
