About the Role:

  • This application is for a 6-month student role from July
  • December 2026. Resume review begins in January 2026.

As an intern, you will be an integral part of our Quality Assurance team. Working a standard 8:00 am to 4:30 pm shift from Monday to Friday, you will contribute to key tactical and operational activities that support our quality standards. Your primary focus will be on creating Power BI dashboards that enhance the visibility and efficiency of investigation and batch record workflows. By developing standard work plans and reporting on key metrics, you will play a pivotal role in identifying continuous improvement opportunities within our quality operations. This position offers a unique insight into biopharmaceutical operations and provides substantial value to the department by ensuring that quality goals are consistently met and exceeded.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create Power BI dashboards to improve visibility into investigations and batch-related issues.
  • Highlight investigation workflows and batch disposition workflows through dashboard creation.
  • Collaborate with QA Operations personnel to define content, sequence, and timing for quality standard work activities.
  • Identify key quality work activities and barriers to timely completion.
  • Work with site Quality Assurance teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and analyze metrics to ensure Quality departmental goals are achieved.
  • Support the Quality Assurance team with the assessment of Quality metric data.
  • Escalate departures from departmental goals to Quality Management.

Who You Are:

  • Proficiency in Power BI for dashboard creation and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

To participate in the Biogen Internship or Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited community college, college, university or skills program/apprenticeship.

Education:

BA/BS degree in progress in a related field.

The base compensation range for this role is:

  • The actual hourly wage offered will consider the candidate’s current academic level and degree candidacy, inclusive of Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, JD, MD, PhD and MBA programs. It will comply with state or local minimum wage requirements specific to the job location.
