Commercial experience

Development and Execution of Market Access Strategy and programs (marketed products and new products launch)

  • Develop Market Access strategy to maximize company products values in line with global strategy.
  • Execute Market Access strategy and programs to maximize company products values.

Lead price and reimbursement submission

  • Develop the pricing dossier in collaboration with Japan affiliate and global market access team.
  • Lead Pricing & Reimbursement / HTA negotiation with MHLW.
  • Complete the responses to the inquiries from the MHLW in line with Japan affiliate and Global
  • Manage External partners and venders

Price Assumption

  • Estimate drug price assumptions of developing product, introduction candidate etc.
  • Estimate medium- to long-term drug price assumptions including system change in collaboration with interna key functions (e.g. Wholesaler, Finance)
  • Analyze Re-pricing risk for the marketed products

HTA impact assessment and related projects

  • Analyze potential HTA impact on the pipelines / products
  • Support implementation of local HTA related projects

Support to marketed products from health insurance / market access perspective

  • Inform price revision related up-to-date information to the business
  • Provide information related to health insurance / healthcare system
  • Propose to solve market access issues and execute action plan

Stakeholder engagement

  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement to enhance P&R, HTA and Medical fee system related environment
  • Collaborate with Trade Associations (e.g. PhRMA Japan etc) to realize the better healthcare environments
