WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) Partners Japan team fuels Japan’s digital partner ecosystem, driving growth across Third Party Platforms (3PP) through tight cross‑functional collaboration. The team works closely with merchandising, sales, operations, and marketplace partners. This role reports to the NDDC Senior Director of Japan and leads the NDDC Partners team while engaging daily with strategic digital partners and internal squads.

- Minimum 8–9 years of experience in business, planning, analytics, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Planning, Analytics, or related field (or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training).
- Proven ability to manage and grow strategic partnerships.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Japanese.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will lead Nike’s 3PP business in Japan, owning the Profit and Loss (P&L), shaping strategy, and driving performance across key metrics. You will collaborate across functions, strengthen partner relationships, and execute both long‑term strategies and short‑term priorities to accelerate digital growth.
- Own the 3PP P&L and drive performance across business KPIs.
- Develop long‑ and short‑term strategic plans for Japan’s digital partner ecosystem.
- Manage operating models, processes, and decision‑making frameworks for 3PP.
- Lead the 3PP Squad to deliver against shared goals and cross‑functional priorities.
- Build and nurture high‑impact partnerships grounded in trust, transparency, and shared growth.
- Apply deep expertise in platform mechanics, promotional levers, and Rakuten/ZOZO algorithm dynamics.
- Define and execute 3PP partnership strategies.
- Ensure seasonal readiness across merchandising, operations, and partner teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketplace strategy and accelerate digital growth.
