Who we seek:

We are looking for motivated professionals with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who are passionate about system reliability and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should be able to work collaboratively while continuously monitoring system performance and identifying opportunities for improvement. A Performance Engineer in this role will focus on monitoring system metrics and proactively responding to system alerts to ensure stable, efficient, and reliable system operations

What you’ll do:

• Design & Implement Performance Testing Strategies to validate and optimize system performance and scalability.

• Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across multi-tier systems, including backend services, databases and infrastructure.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, infrastructure, DevOps) to improve system efficiency and ensure performant data handling.

• Work with core infrastructure components like K8s, Kafka, databases etc

• Provide performance optimization recommendations and architectural advice to eliminate bottlenecks and improve throughput.

• Experience tuning and analyzing performance for distributed databases like MongoDB Atlas and Elasticsearch.

What you’ll bring: ·

• A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical field

• 7+ years performance engineering experience across large-scale systems

• Design performance strategies and troubleshoot bottlenecks

• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB Atlas, and Elasticsearch

• Collaborate with dev/infrastructure teams for optimization

• Experience with monitoring tools (for example, Datadog, ELK, Redash)

• Proven experience in managing large-scale distributed systems and understanding the principles of scalability and reliability

• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and data

• Certifications in cloud services, networking, or systems administration
