As a Learning Partner Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enabling training strategies that support business priorities and foster innovative learning environments across the organization. You’ll serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders and learning teams, ensuring training initiatives are aligned to enterprise goals and delivering measurable outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally while influencing learning programs from design to delivery.

This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days at our corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with the Human Resources Center of Excellence (CoE) and business leaders to integrate learning methodologies into key business initiatives.
  • Consult with leaders to understand their strategic vision and translate it into actionable, targeted training solutions.
  • Guide content creators to ensure learning experiences align with business goals and desired outcomes.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of learning solutions—from strategy to execution—and ensure timely delivery.
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of training programs, providing clear, data-driven insights to business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate trainings as needed across virtual and in-person settings to support engagement and adoption.

Basic qualifications

  • 5 or more years of experience in learning & development, organizational development, or related field
  • 5 or more years of experience leading or mentoring others, managing cross-functional projects, or influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • 3 or more years of experience consulting with business leaders to assess learning needs and translate strategy into training solutions
  • 2 or more years of experience designing, delivering, or facilitating learning experiences in both virtual and in-person environments
  • Proficiency in using learning technologies, LMS platforms, and data tools to track learning effectiveness and outcome

Preferred qualifications

  • 5 or more years proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 3 or more years demonstrating collaboration and partnership skills across cross-functional teams
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize and drive vision across complex projects
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and maintain a learner-first mindset
