Join our People, Places, and Systems Group as part of the Grow Team as a Senior People Business Partner and work with a group of senior leaders and their organizations to align creative, progressive talent strategies with business objectives to deliver tailored, value-added support to cross-functional teams.
In this role, you will champion the Creator group’s mission to democratize digital creation of engaging digital co-experiences for global audiences through revolutionary tools and services, directly supporting our 2026 goal of capturing 10% of the global gaming market through novel, high-fidelity content. Partnering with senior leaders, you will navigate a pivotal organizational shift toward novel content creation and game incubation, requiring expert change management to align nearly 400 builders with our evolving Creator business and corresponding people strategies. You will serve as a critical advisor in scaling high-demand technical talent in ML and game engineering while fostering a culture of Creator empathy to drive innovation across our Studio, Success, Solutions, Services, Creator Ecosystem, Developer Relations, and Content pillars.
Role is based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters.
You will:

Establish yourself as a knowledgeable, trusted, reliable partner for the Creator leadership team

Develop multi-year talent roadmaps and strategic workforce architecture that prioritizes the aggressive scaling of principal-level engineering, ML, and game development talent required for high-fidelity content and genre expansion

Synthesize complex workforce analytics (attrition, engagement, productivity, etc.) into actionable insights that help leaders prioritize high-impact people initiatives over tactical fixes.

Collaborate with other People and Talent teams, as well as various Centers of Excellence in the design and implementation of innovative People programs to attract, retain, and promote a diverse and inclusive workforce

Provide strategic guidance on a wide range of people-related topics, including organizational design and effectiveness, talent management, strategic workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and other key initiatives

Serve as an executive coach, provide guidance, and support the development of our leaders

You will report to one of the three Senior Director, People Business Partner Leads
You have:
-
7+ years of experience as a People Business Partner or equivalent, with a proven track record of leading large-scale organizational redesigns (affecting 100+ people) in high-growth, technical environments
-
Demonstrated ability to diagnose root causes of organizational friction rather than just treating symptoms
-
Experience to design and deliver innovative approaches in workforce planning, talent management, change management, leadership development, employee engagement, change management, culture transformation, and organizational design
-
Mastery in building trust-based partnerships with skeptical technical leaders and the courage to challenge senior stakeholders when people practices conflict with long-term organizational health.

The ability to flourish in a mission-driven yet volatile environment where strategic priorities pivot frequently based on market-understanding and creator insights.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.
Annual Salary Range**$240,600—$270,630 USD**
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
