Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for achieving sales quotas for assigned area through the direct sale of the company's products or services. Implement sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives. Calls on prospective customers, delivers effective sales presentations, provides technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices. Intermediate commercial excellence competencies; utilizes CRM (Boost) and business reporting systems (SMD) to shares job expertise and provides guidance to his/her team sales reps. Takes ownership of tender process, understand the BU tender strategies, suggest prices in collaboration with pricing/KAM and can answer most questions independently. Monitors sales against forecasts and participates in the determination of market potential for the territory. Works closely with clinical specialist/manager, customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Demonstrate role model behavior of Baxter cultural values through positive ongoing relationships and activities. Provide feedback regarding sales activities/product simplification and standardization to enhance profitability of sales line.
Qualifications:
- Able to seek and probe sales opportunities according to the needs of customers
- Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills.
- Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies.
- Must have good organization and time management skills. Ability to understand and adapt to customers' changing needs. Demonstrates business knowledge.
- Has people manager experiences
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of working experiences in sales function.
- 1+ years of people manager experiences
- Healthcare/pharmaceutical/Medical Devices industry experience is preferable.
