Job Description
Main task is to perform control and non-financial regulatory report function.
Control main function includes client money/asset segregation, reconciliation and creating statements for various products.
Non Financial Regulatory Reporting function (NFRR) is to provide transaction volume, outstanding position information to various regulators, which is used by regulators to supervise our business or to provide statics for investors.
Both Control and NFRR are cross product functions and are closely related to the laws, rules and regulations, where accuracy and the timeliness is the essential factor.
Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliation between our books and records vs external depository.
- Create transaction balance statements to clients.
- Calculate client money
- Create/submit Non financial regulatory reports
- Perform Security Administration function
- Perform operational risk related tasks
- Work with various line of business for reconciliation breaks, issues, etc.
Requirements
- Require knowledge in security industry/market - work experience in financial institution is required
- Business level English with Japanese native level fluency
- Strong team player and ability to work well independently and collaboratively with peers and stakeholders
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Attention to details and the ability to process tasks accurately and in a timely manner
- Control focused with a good understanding of risks and the impacts of errors
- Interest toward regulation/regulatory document is preferable.
- Good adaptability to expanded roles and responsibilities including supervising the team
