We are expanding our Platform & Infrastructure Engineering team and are looking for a Developer – Platform Engineering (CI/CD) who can contribute to building, maintaining, and improving our software delivery lifecycle.
In this role, you will support the development and operation of CI/CD systems that enable teams to build, test, and deploy software reliably and efficiently. You’ll collaborate with multiple teams while growing your technical expertise in cloud-native infrastructure and developer platforms.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Build kite, or GitHub Actions
- Support build and deployment infrastructure using tools like Bazel, Make, Terraform, and CloudFormation
- Assist in operating and troubleshooting build and delivery systems across AWS environments
- Contribute to improving developer workflows and automation for build, test, and deployment
- Implement and maintain basic monitoring, metrics, and alerting for CI/CD services
- Support artifact management and package registry solutions
- Contribute to internal developer platform improvements (e.g., Backstage) under guidance
- Participate in evaluation and adoption of CI/CD tools and practices
- Follow established practices for security, compliance, and reliability in CI/CD systems
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to resolve issues and improve workflows
Required Skills and Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or build/release engineering
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, Buildkite, or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with build tools (Bazel, Make, Gradle, or Maven)
- Working knowledge of Git and version control workflows
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation)
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch, and IAM
- Experience working with Linux systems (Ubuntu, Amazon Linux)
- Basic understanding of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS)
- Familiarity with artifact/package management (pip, npm, yarn, Maven)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Ability to leverage AI tools for code generation, debugging, documentation, and automation tasks
- Understanding of responsible AI usage, including code quality validation and security considerations
- Participate in on-call rotations and support production systems independently
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Exposure to observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD security and best practices
- Familiarity with developer platforms like Backstage
- Exposure to multi-environment cloud setups
- Willingness to learn and adopt new tools and technologies
