YOUR ROLE

As a Technical Manager at Aptiv, you will own system‑level technical definition and execution for automotive embedded products. You will translate customer and business needs into end‑to‑end system requirements and architectures, and lead technical integration and validation across the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own system requirements engineering including use‑case definition, traceability, and change impact analysis (tools such as Polarion or equivalent)
  • Define and maintain system architecture using SysML, UML, and modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect
  • Lead system integration across embedded software, hardware, and vehicle networks (CAN/LIN/Flex Ray preferred)
  • Drive system‑level validation, technical reviews, and cross‑functional technical decision‑making
  • Provide technical leadership across teams, ensuring alignment between requirements, architecture, integration, and validation

YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Software, or Systems)
  • 8+ years of experience in automotive embedded systems or system engineering roles
  • Hands‑on experience with system‑level ownership (not only component or module development)
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive development lifecycle, system interfaces, and technical dependencies
  • Experience working with requirements tools, architecture modeling tools, and system validation activities
