About the Role
As a Quality Technician (m/f/d), you will play a critical role in ensuring that purchased parts, materials, and manufactured components meet stringent quality standards. You will develop inspection methods, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

Perform inspection of purchased parts, materials, components, and equipment, confirming accuracy and compliance.

Develop and refine inspection methods for manufactured parts.
-
Assist in determining methods, sequences, and procedures for inspection; perform intermediate inspections.
-
Utilize drawings, specifications, industry standards, and sketches, adapting inspection tools and procedures as needed.

Read and interpret technical drawings and specification requirements.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
-
Document results by recording detailed test results and preparing quality problem reports.
-
Conduct intermediate problem-solving to identify root causes and implement solutions.
-
Apply statistical methods and use complex precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment (including CMM).

Develop audit methods, sequences, and procedures; perform basic audits.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Quality Assurance, or related technical field.
-
3–5 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
-
Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools and equipment (CMM preferred).
-
Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and quality standards (ISO 9001).
-
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in documentation and reporting of inspection results.

Knowledge of inspection planning and audit processes.
