The Opportunity: We are seeking enthusiastic Insurance Brokers to join our Tamworth team, specialising in the delivery of best-in-class risk management solutions for mid-market commercial clients. Aon has an extensive presence across Australia, with representation in each State capital and an extensive regional branch network. We have an opportunity available for Client Executive and Client Manager level candidates within the Tamworth team. Client Executive will work closely with the Client Managers and Regional Manager to implement growth, retention and client servicing strategies whilst also managing a small, insurance client portfolio. Client Manager will lead and manage a substantial insurance portfolio across the region whilst actively pursuing new business opportunities and developing Aon’s visibility and reputation within the community. These roles are key contributors to long-term growth ambitions in the Tamworth region and is ideal for someone looking to grow their insurance career in a challenging, fast paced and collaborative environment. Given this, Aon will provide reimbursement for successful candidates attaining Tier 1 insurance broking qualifications. What the day will look like: Work directly with support teams to ensure accurate and timely completing of tasks Create fit-for-purpose solutions for clients through the execution of Aon’s Go to Market strategy Build strong relationship with clients, internal and external stakeholders Handling processing duties including renewals, endorsements, Certificates of Currencies, invoicing as well as response to day to day queries from clients Identify development opportunities within your designated portfolio and design appropriate servicing and placement solutions Actively contribute to monthly branch and sales meetings and participate in Aon and external training opportunities Actively support utilisation of new systems and processes that drive business growth and continuous improvement Provide mentorship and contribute to the development of team members within the region (where applicable to experience level) Skills and experience that will lead to success: Strong client relationship management capabilities with a client-first mindset First-class communication and presentation skills A keen entrepreneurial spirit, with demonstrated new business successes or strong appetite for business development Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant working experience Organisational skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment High attention to detail and quality whilst working under pressure Eagerness to grow a long-term career in insurance How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
