Senior Data Modelling Consultant Do you have the skills needed to create and amend complex Excel models to support bulk pension data projects? We are looking for a driven individual to join our Data Solutions Team, within Aon’s UK Retirement business. This is a team which brings together specialists from across our business to deliver project work for clients. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from any of our UK offices. What the day will look like Carry out and/or review data modelling work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements e.g. roll data back to inception date or roll data forward to current date. Liaise with multiple stakeholders, including consultant, administrators, and specialists, to understand requirements, articulate our work and help make decisions. Ask the right questions to gain an understanding of complex processes, then using this to plan or design solutions. Reviewing/scrutinising bespoke data modelling or calculation work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with requirements. Developing others in the team. Leading or inputting into process improvement activities. Skills and experience that will lead to success Proficiency in Excel, with ability to create and amend models. A strong understanding of UK pension schemes with experience of delivering bulk pension data and/or calculation projects. Have experience with data extraction, manipulation, and transformation projects. Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate. Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon. Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with various teams and stakeholders. Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects.
