What the day will look like Request for renewal terms and documents from insurers Review the renewals terms and be able to analyse claims data Work with Account Management team (AM) to review renewal options for pre and post renewal client’s meeting Conduct Request For Proposals (RFPs) Set up The Benefits System (TBS) for renewal and RFP rounds Set up Scoring Criteria/Objectives in TBS Review and negotiate all terms with carriers Prepare renewal reports / PowerPoint slides (including Renewal Summary Report) for clients meetings Ensure all renewals are confirmed and risks are placed timely with carriers Print email correspondences between Aon and carriers eg. placements, renewal instructions etc.
Ensure accounts are updated timely in Greater Insights system (within 30 days from date of expiry) only applicable to Global Benefits Management (GBM) accounts Ensure all documents and invoices are received timely Check policy contracts and endorsements and assist Admin on invoices’ clarifications Ensure accuracy on Monthly Forecast (Finance) files and timely submission of the files by the stipulated timeline Develop and maintain excellent carrier relationships Skills and experience that will lead to success Degree from a recognised university, plus minimum regulatory requirements for registration as Broking and FA rep with MAS.
Strong broking operation experience, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills required Previous experience in broking, working with clients, and product knowledge is required.
Strong leadership skills required as well as the ability to work well with senior and junior colleagues, and maintain insurer relationships.
Self-disciplined and organised Good skills on MS systems including Word, Excel, Powerpoint required Strong computer skills – Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc knowledge required Good analytical skills Previous experience in insurance broking, working with clients, and strong product knowledge Good interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks Ability to work independently and as a team How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
