Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Facilities Director for our Thailand factories to join the Global Operations and Technology team. This is a director position in Facilities where the successful candidate will serve as the organization's subject matter expert in facilities test, design, and operations. This person will be responsible for planning, hiring, design coordination, project implementation and operations centering on Thailand.
ADI’s Thailand manufacturing facilities in Chonburi consist of test and assembly building 1: 200k SF and building 2: 550k SF.
This person will also be expected to promote a positive image for ADI with stakeholders: employees, customers, investors, local communities, and government agencies.
Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing large construction projects. Job involves managing design and construction of new manufacturing test locations, and offices as well as upgrading existing buildings.
- Managing engineers and technicians in Facilities Operations for 24/7 manufacturing sites
- Conducting Facilities Operations with no interruptions to production due to facilities issues
- Managing Facilities group for semiconductor manufacturing test and assembly sites
- Evaluation of existing versus new energy-efficient technologies to reduce operating costs, etc.
Specific responsibilities will be to take identified need by company management and propose cost-effective solutions. Tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Familiarity with architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire and life safety systems design and specs
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing facilities support systems: HVAC, UPW, Power distribution, CDA, PV, IWT, PCW, LN2, controls, etc.
- Managing engineers and technicians to bring world class results to Thailand Facilities teams
- Performing a gap analysis to ensure facilities systems capacities keep pace with manufacturing plans
- Developing a master space plan
- Preparation of plans, schedules, and cost estimates
- Preparation of bid documents
- Soliciting bids, conducting job walks, receiving, and evaluating bids
- Preparing purchase requests, ROI calculations, and executive summaries
- Submitting proposals
- Experience hiring excellent candidates and developing personnel
- Interfacing with various governmental agencies
- Coordinating contractors and city inspections
- Preparing punch lists and ensuring contractors complete all work on schedule
- Preparing permit applications and reports as required for compliance with all applicable laws
- Working with various entities to receive conservation rebates for energy, water, etc.
Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering

Minimum of 15 years of experience in facility operations and the semiconductor industry

Registered P.E. license, or equivalent, is a plus

Current knowledge of energy-efficient approaches for semiconductor test and office areas

Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the English language

Good computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in CMMS, EXCEL, Smartsheets, WORD, Power Point, and MS Project

Must have good people skills, be able to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast-paced, fluid environment

Must be quality and safety oriented

Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
