The Role
As AMD continues its strong growth trajectory, our Talent Acquisition team is expanding to support increasing hiring demands. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full‑cycle recruitment for complex technical engineering roles, as well as Sales and Marketing positions, across one or more business units.
The Person
The Talent Acquisition Manager is accountable for recruitment delivery across the Japan and Korea markets. This role leads the TA team and owns hiring outcomes end‑to‑end, including recruitment efficiency, team development, and stakeholder partnership. As a strategic advisor to the business, the manager drives talent outcomes by aligning hiring strategies with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage stakeholder engagement across the business
- Develop, coach, and manage the TA team
- Drive executive‑level hiring in Japan and Korea
- Represent and advocate for Talent Acquisition with senior stakeholders
- Apply sound judgment throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Experience and Skills
- Experience in the semiconductor or high‑tech industry preferred
- Proven people management experience in a matrix environment
- Strong ability to navigate complexity and drive solutions
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing recruitment strategies in Japan and Korea
- Ability to operate effectively within a global organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Results‑driven mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities
