アマゾンでは、"地球上で最もお客様を大切にする企業になること”というミッションの元に日々改善と改革が行われています。 本ポジションは、アマゾンの物流プロセスにおいて重要な役割を担う最終仕分け、発送及び配送を行う物流センター(Delivery Station)において、もっとも重要な「安全」をLeadし、お客様一人一人に確実に商品をお届けすることに貢献していただきます。Workplace Health and Safety team (以下、WHS)は、アマゾンの物流を担う各拠点と拠点間輸送で働くあらゆる立場の方が、安全且つ安心して業務が行える環境を提供します。本ポジションは、担当するAMZLの複数拠点の安全を統括してManagementするRegional WHS Managerとして、安全文化を創造し、自然災害・火災・オペレーションに関わるリスク検出、それらの予防措置と是正措置導入、事故防止と削減計画、についてStakeholderと実行します。また、複数のProjectをLeadし、標準化を進めることで、より効果的且つ効率的な方法を国内外のNetworkへ展開していきます。 具体的には、安全衛生年間計画の作成・実施、リスクアセスメント、変更管理、防火・防災対策の計画立案と導入、関係者の教育、遵法監査など担当するRegionの責任を担います。またTeamメンバーをLeadし育成することでTeamを成長させることはもちろんのこと、関係者への安全のレベルを向上させることが期待され、多様な安全衛生促進活動を通して、全体の安全レベルを高めていただきます。 現場を何よりも大切にしているアマゾンであるため、Safetyのスキルをベースに自らが高い現場力を発揮することで、机上ではない安全のLeadも求められます。 更に社内外のパートナーと協働体制を構築することが重要な業務となるため、Safetyのスキルだけでなく、ビジネスマナーに優れ、高いコミュニケーションでパートナーシップを築ける能力をお持ちの方のご応募をお待ちしております。

This position plays a critical role in Amazon's logistics process by leading the most important aspect—Safety—at Delivery Stations, which handle final sorting, shipping, and delivery, thereby contributing to ensuring that products reach each and every customer reliably.
The Workplace Health and Safety team (WHS) provides a safe and secure working environment for all associates at various positions across Amazon's logistics sites and inter-site transportation. This position serves as a Regional WHS Manager overseeing safety management across multiple AMZL sites, responsible for creating a safety culture and executing risk detection related to natural disasters, fires, and operations, along with implementing preventive and corrective measures, accident prevention, and reduction plans in collaboration with stakeholders. Additionally, you will lead multiple projects and drive standardization to deploy more effective and efficient methods across domestic and international networks.
Specific responsibilities include creating and implementing annual occupational health and safety plans, conducting risk assessments, managing change, planning and introducing fire and disaster prevention measures, educating stakeholders, conducting compliance audits, and bearing responsibility for the assigned region. You are expected to lead and develop team members to grow the team, while also elevating the safety level of stakeholders through diverse safety promotion activities to raise the overall safety standard.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience leading multiple direct reports or multiple sites
  • Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment
  • Experience in a distribution center or manufacturing EHS with mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people
