Alexa Smart Properties (ASP) is transforming how enterprises deploy voice experiences at scale across hospitality and senior living properties worldwide. We're building the future of enterprise voice technology, enabling properties to put Alexa in every room to improve customer experiences, reduce costs, and generate incremental revenue.

We're seeking an exceptional Sr. Manager, Software Development to establish and lead our growing Alexa Smart Properties engineering organization in Bangalore. This is a unique opportunity to build a high-performing team from the ground up while solving complex technical challenges that directly impact millions of users in enterprise environments.

In this role, you'll tackle ASP-specific challenges including building robust device management capabilities for fleet-scale deployments, architecting multi-tenant systems that serve diverse property types, and developing innovative communication features that connect senior living residents with family and friends through seamless calling and drop-in capabilities on Alexa devices. You'll be responsible for recruiting and developing multiple front-line managers and senior engineers, establishing engineering excellence in our Bangalore hub, and driving critical initiatives that span device lifecycle management, enterprise-grade security, and real-time communications.

As a leader in this role, you'll collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams across both India and the United States, ensuring alignment on technical vision and delivery excellence. You'll own the end-to-end software development lifecycle for your teams, from architecture and design through deployment and operations, while building the organizational foundation for ASP's continued expansion in India. This position requires someone who can balance hands-on technical leadership with people management, someone who thrives in ambiguity, and someone passionate about building both world-class products and world-class teams.

If you're excited about enterprise-scale challenges, building new organizations, and making voice technology accessible to properties worldwide, we want to hear from you.
