In this role, you’ll be at the center of driving AWS’s GTM strategy, partnering directly with the AWS Specialist and Partners (ASP) organization to manage, optimize, transform a $5B+ investment portfolio. You’ll collaborate with senior Sales, Business Development, Data Science, and Finance leaders to build financial plans, analyze large-scale investment opportunities, develop new go-to-market strategies, and identify opportunities for business growth. You will play key roles in both running the day-to-day business and helping drive strategic growth for the future.

• Key job responsibilities
• Serve as a key finance partner to the ASP Partner Core team, collaborating across executive leadership to analyze inputs and outputs, assess business performance, and optimize asset allocation.
• Develop and evolve complex financial models that analyze program- and portfolio-level revenue, profit, and ROI impacts.
• Build rhythm of the business processes that deliver ongoing insights and support day-to-day decision making.
• Engage and influence across the AWS Sales, Finance, and Operations hierarchy, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize our customer’s experience, achieve common goals, and monitor risks.
• Monitor compliance with controls and systems, and develop new processes and controls as needed to support internal and external financial reporting requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
• Experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
• Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python)
• 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
• MBA, or CFA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience in building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making
• Experience in identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
