As a Technical Program Manager for Configuration Management you will help create BOMs, refine processes, and grow the capabilities of current systems, driving continuous improvement to meet our needs as a developer of a world class cloud computing service provider. You will be responsible for seamless, rapid and global implementation of components, BOMs, documents, and other product data supporting the business strategies and supply chain requirements. This position will also serve to promote best practices and internal business processes with relation to change management and general PLM functions. We are looking for an individual who is responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You must be motivated to work in a data driven environment, have a desire to drive process improvement, and long for the opportunity to analyze systematic issues and implement solutions to challenging problems.
Key job responsibilities
The Technical Program Manager primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Create product BOMs and process change orders in a PLM systems.

Act as an advocate of Product Lifecycle Management best practices, methods, and processes.

Own a program, develop strategies, identify risk, success criteria, execute projects plans and provide communication to stakeholders.

Collaborate with customers to understand and analyze requirements, and subsequently develop functional designs, configuration, and technical specification documentation.

Drive timely part setup, BOM releases, BOM changes to support new product introduction (NPI) as well as sustaining the business.

Participate in continuous process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis efficiencies.

As a Technical Program Manager you will be,

Cross-collaborating with your customers to understand their requirements.

Establishing on going communication of project status, issues and risks in a timely manner to stakeholders and customers.

Drive and expand the scope of your programs needs.

Identify gaps in processes and develop project roadmaps with deliverables.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 2+ years creating bill of materials within a Product Lifecycle Management tool.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
