As a Senior Analyst on the Sustainability Controls Team, you will play a central role in designing, implementing, and operating controls across Amazon's sustainability reporting ecosystem. You will work across a portfolio of high-impact workstreams — from carbon emissions and waste to workforce metrics and building-level data — ensuring that data flowing into external disclosures meets the highest standards of accuracy and completeness.
Why This Role Stands Out:
-
High-impact, high-visibility work: Your contributions will directly support Amazon's most important external sustainability disclosures, including the annual Sustainability Report and global regulatory reports.
-
At the frontier of sustainability controllership: This is a relatively new and rapidly evolving space — you'll help shape how Amazon builds world-class controls for sustainability data, with the opportunity to define best practices from the ground up.
-
Cross-functional collaboration: You'll work alongside teams spanning Finance, Technology, Legal, Public Relations, Marketing, and Sustainability — building a broad internal network and deep institutional knowledge.
-
Innovation-forward environment: Our team is actively building AI-powered tools for GRC activities and next-generation dashboards to transform how sustainability controls are managed at scale.
-
Career growth: The Sustainability Controls space is expanding rapidly in response to global regulatory requirements. This role positions you at the center of that growth, with clear pathways to take on greater scope and leadership.
-
Mission-driven culture: You'll be part of a team that genuinely cares about getting sustainability data right — because accuracy in this space matters for the planet, not just the balance sheet.
