- Amazon Advertising is one of the fastest growing businesses within Amazon.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager:
-
Technical to invent new advertising guidance experiences to help brands selling on and off Amazon realize their full potential. Working backwards from our advertisers, you will need to define a vision and roadmap that provides advertisers with the insight and guidance they need to optimize and orchestrate our full suite of ad products. You'll collaborate with a team of software engineers and data scientists to leverage the latest big data technologies to deliver on this vision. Success will require balancing big, industry changing goals with a bias for action and consistent delivery of advertiser value. You will also need to adeptly use data and compelling advertiser feedback to communicate and build support for your vision with partner teams and leadership. We are growing very fast and breaking new ground, so the ideal candidate is invigorated by an environment of ambiguity and constant change.

Key job responsibilities

Working backwards from our advertisers, define an industry leading vision and roadmap.

Evangelize the vision with partner teams and leadership.

Be the expert on advertiser optimization needs.

Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to ideate, design, develop and deliver great advertiser experiences.

Inspire the team to continually invent and simplify solutions to complex problems.

Vigorously and consistently refine product definitions to deliver faster, without sacrificing the advertiser experience.

Coordinate with partner teams to ensure we deliver seamless experiences across multiple advertiser touch points.

Own the user experience; write working backwards documents; define user stories and product requirements;

Define success metrics for features, track performance, and deliver results.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in search advertising, search marketing, performance advertising, or similar digital advertising

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
