- Amazon India is seeking a Tax Analyst
- Indirect Tax to be based in Bengaluru. This position will be responsible for working on Indirect tax compliance matters, GST audits, projects and automation. The person would provide support on various business initiatives, including liaising with various internal teams on some of the big projects for compliance. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality.
Key job responsibilities
- The responsibility of the ideal candidate would include
- Assist with indirect tax registrations across various jurisdictions;
- Assist in the documentation and improvement of indirect tax processes;
- Assist in month-end indirect tax account reconciliations;
- Assist in managing Statutory auditors and external GST departmental audit, including data analysis;
- Provide indirect tax compliance support- Return filing GSTR 1, 3B, ISD and TCS and collaborate with colleagues throughout the business including Accounting, A/P, A/R, and Finance;
- Participate and lead in cross-functional projects
Manage indirect projects on compliance, controller- ship and tech debt
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA
- 3+ years of experience in GST TAX Compliance . Candidate from Big 4 and ECommerce sector is preferable
