Sourcing Recruiter, AWS GTM Talent Acquisition
We're seeking an experienced Sourcer to drive talent acquisition for our AWS Partner and Specialist organization. In this role, you'll leverage multiple sourcing methodologies—including LinkedIn, HIRE ATS, and creative outreach strategies—to identify, engage, and assess candidates for complex, multi-team requisitions. You'll develop and execute sourcing strategies that increase lead volume, monitor external talent pipelines and market trends, and use data-driven insights to optimize hiring processes. Working closely with recruiters and hiring managers, you'll build long-term candidate networks, influence best practices around job descriptions and messaging, and create exceptional candidate experiences. You'll also own recruiting programs, such as referral drives, networking events, and conference engagement, that strengthen our talent pipeline. This role offers the opportunity to impact hiring while developing deep domain expertise in partner ecosystem and specialist roles.
- Key job responsibilities
- Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
- Recruit passive tech candidates and possess the mentality to identify and gauge chemistry of candidates for role fit and understand their motivation rather than sell a role.
- Provides strategic guidance and becomes an advisor business leader in matters related to technical and non-technical hiring by delivering results.
- Develop sourcing models and plans to generate technical and non-technical talent pools, create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent and calibrate job profiles with hiring managers.
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine-tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
- Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.
- Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
- Participate in and/or own special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of top performers for senior-level
openings.

Experience sourcing for technical, sales, or partner-facing roles in technology companies
Knowledge of cloud computing, or technology partner ecosystems
Demonstrated success building and maintaining talent pipelines for hard-to-fill positions
Experience with data analysis and reporting to inform sourcing strategies
Familiarity with recruiting metrics and funnel optimization

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruiting mid to high-level tech talent in competitive markets experience
- 3+ years of working with CRM, ATS, or related applicant tracking software systems and analytics tools experience
- 3+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
- Bachelor's degree, or experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research
- 2+ years of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel experience
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience creating, measuring and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers and the recruiting team
- Experience partnering with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience executing recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management
- Experience in utilizing data and analytical skills to create, measure, and scale workflows to achieve accelerated hiring goals

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
