Job Description:
The Operational Risk Sr. Consultant I supports the strategic initiative to provide operational risk/return expertise to the enterprise. The role is responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation of an enterprise operational risk return framework. The job serves as a liaison to provide streamlined solutions for operational risk projects and supports the management of overall enterprise operational risk.

Key Responsibilities

Communicates/interacts with leadership, including operational risk leaders and or business unit leaders.

Accountable to escalate and report significant issues.

Responsible for effective independent challenge of first line risk management activities, thematic reviews and 'deep dives'.

Organizes information and data to form hypotheses and assumptions of future impact.

Reviews, researches, interprets, and analyzes operational risk data to identify trends, emerging risks, and issues.

Provides consultative risk management support including: monitoring, reporting, and an escalation structure to optimize risk and return.

Performs operational risk assessments with business units.

Strong understanding of operational risk management and its impact on the enterprise

Executes on strategy to implement the ORRM framework and optimize enterprise risk and return management strategy.

Supports the development of the Enterprise Risk Management program.
Education:
- 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience:

3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
