AIRBUS offer more than 70 vacancies for our full time graduate program in Spain - #Discover II 2026/2027 - Starting date 5th October 2026 until 1st October. We are looking for recent graduates from different disciplines interested in developing their professional career in the aeronautical sector. The current context demands different ways of looking, thinking and relating.
The selection process will be during April 2026 until July 2026.
What does this internship consists in?
Together with Camilo José Cela University, Airbus has developed an exclusive program (Discover) designed for those interested in the best training in new areas of knowledge essential to be able to develop as professionals of the future.
You will have the opportunity to study a Master, organized in three training blocks, that will allow you to Discover the skills most in demand today. It will be combined with an 11 month internship at Airbus in an area related to your degree, where you can learn and complete your academic background.
The start of the internship will be in early October 2026, and will last 11 months (August disabled for all purposes). It is a full-time experience (40h/week), in which you will receive an attractive study grant.
Internship Job Description:
We are looking for new talent to join us as engineers to meet the growing demands of our new programs.
We are a simulation department within the Air Power division, developing a wide range of solutions to support the company's aircraft programs. Our focus is on developing training simulators for pilot instruction, as well as supporting new programs with all types of virtualization needs to enhance simulation-based engineering processes.
Our department manages the Future Air Capabilities Prototyping Lab, where the company explores new concepts and their integration with current fleet capabilities.
We work at the cutting edge of simulation technology, focusing on areas such as aircraft model development, image generators, data visualization, cockpit concept development, the integration of multiple assets into complex 'system of systems' solutions, and technologies for Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) scenarios.
You will be part of the core team to develop graphical user interfaces for multiple products and programs in the scope of simulation and virtualization (e.g. data dashboard visualization, simulator cockpits, simulation applications like debriefing, operator station, simulator control, ...)
You will work in an international environment (Level B2 Engligh) which requires close coordination with internal colleagues and stakeholders. As members of an already existing team that works in an Agile way of working, an Agile mind-set is a must for the position.
Your tasks consist mainly of:

Design and develop Human Machine Interface software for our simulation solutions.

Derive system requirements from operational requirements.

Design architecture of software modules for new simulator functionalities

Perform integration testing

Degree (or Master Degree) in Software /Aeronautical/ Telecommunication Engineering or a related discipline

Web technology

Javascript software development. Front-end and/or back-end.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Team spirit and great collaboration skills.

Ability to work in complex and international environments
Interest on:

Data visualization and UI application developments.

Video game developments.

Knowledge on ES6, Web Components, Proxies, JS Async, Workers, HTML Canvas Graphic.

Web page design HTML and CSS.

Knowledge in nodejs and ExpressJS framework.
-
Knowledge in any common template engie (as Pug, Mustache, Dust, ...)
-
Knowledge in GIS library as Openlayers, Cesium, Map Libre-GPL. Valuable knowledge on GIS servers (as Geoserver).

Knowledge in Electron framework.
-
Valuable knowledge on WebRTC, ffmpeg and/or gstreamer.
-
Valuable knowledge on WebGL.
It will be valuable interest on:

HMI development on technology as Qt.

Software knowledge on C++ and/or Python.
Related Technologies:
Experience in one or more of the following technologies is mandatory:
