Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a **Optical Components Specialist (f/m)**to join our engineering department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing and qualifying electrical and optical systems components for systems installation across various aeronautical programs. As part of the environment and system standard parts team, you will be involved in managing these components from specification to in-service support, aiming at delivering innovative solutions in-line with industrial needs.

Your challenges:

Lead the development and qualification of optical products, ensuring validation of associated design deliverables.

Represent the engineering department within cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with procurement, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing.

Develop innovative optical solutions to meet future needs, such as increased cabin entertainment capacity or lighter avionics data networks.

Manage relationships with worldwide suppliers and subcontractors to ensure product quality and delivery.

Investigate and solve technical issues arising in-service or during manufacturing processes.
Your boarding pass:

Significant professional experience in optical engineering or optical and electrical system installation.

Strong knowledge of environmental conditions (electromagnetic interference, corrosion, vibration) and associated test methods.

Proven experience in systems engineering and project management within an industrial context.

Ability to investigate complex problems, construct solid analyses, and identify root causes.
-
Advanced level in English is mandatory to communicate effectively in a transnational environment.
