About the role

Job Description:

The jobholder will take over the Avionic System Testing responsibilities as part of the Integration Test Team in Rig, covering all the activities required for the verification and validation (V&V) of the Avionics systems for H145M with special focus on Communications (Radio Preset Loader and Crypto Cerberus management), including the following main tasks:

  • Definition and maintenance of the Engineering Bench Test Orders (BTO or equivalent) for all the avionic systems under AHE responsibility.
  • System compliance demonstration with respect to the allocated requirements: Avionics System integration, problem analysis on system/susbsytem/equipment level and for the definition and approval of the test equipment and test means.
  • Follow-up rig and test bench hardware, including rig maintenance, configuration, preparation for testing, upgrades and documentation.
  • Analyze problems on avionics system level during integration phase, and technical assistance to system/susbsytem/equipment requirements specification and analysis.
  • Technical support to the avionic system design and SW team to ensure the testability of the Avionics System for the different variants and versions.
  • Execution of system integration tests in Rig, according to the approved BTOs
  • Produce the Engineering Bench Test Reports (BTR)
  • Ensure traceability of test planning, BTO and BTR to system requirements, as part of the support to Certification and Qualification (C&Q) process at Helicopter level.

Technical assistance to the rig and bench users (including C&Q authorities) for coordinate test slot requests and prepare test setups.

This role may involve some travel for business to Germany (mainly) and France (occasionally); as such you must be able to travel accordingly

Required education and knowledge:

Engineering degree in: Aeronautics, Telecommunication, Industrial, Electronic.

Desirable experience in Avionics Systems Integration test tools (Easi Suite, SEAS, Data Sims, equivalent)

Desirable experiencie in Rig Integration Tests.

Knowledge in if Ms Office Suite and Google Suite.

Experience in Systems Engineering (desirable in Aerospace industrie)
