Job Description:

An opportunity for a Air Power Digital and Agile Implementation Project Support has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid).

RESPONSIBILITIES: The jobholder will support in all activities related to the department which is agile coaching and training, transformation project management, digital strategy creation and digital portfolio management.

Administrative Support:

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of programme-related documents and reports.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.

  • Maintain and update programme/project documentation and databases.

  • Handle correspondence and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Support:

  • Assist in the development and tracking of programme timelines and milestones.

  • Monitor and report on programme progress, highlighting any potential risks or issues.

  • Support the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.

  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and timely completion of programme tasks.

Financial Support:

  • Assist in the preparation and tracking of programme/project budgets and resource allocation.

  • Monitor programme/project expenditures and ensure compliance with financial policies.

  • Support the preparation of financial reports and forecasts.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

  • Assist in the organization of stakeholder meetings and events.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that programme/project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.

  • Assist in the implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures.

  • Support the preparation of quality assurance reports and documentation.

Risk Management and Issue Anticipation:

  • Proactively identify and assess potential risks and issues

  • -Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks.

SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in administrative or operational support roles, preferably in programme or project management.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Google workspace suite and Atlassian collaboration tools.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of programme and project management software and tools is a plus.

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

  • Experience in a similar industry or organizational context.

  • Familiarity with financial management and budgeting processes.

  • High level of English (business fluent, speaking, reading, writing) is a must. In addition, German and Spanish are a plus.
